Sokhumi State University has won in the EU grant project "Tempus IV". The main objective of the project is to assist in implementing reforms in the field of education, develop culture management and deepen the cooperation between EU partner countries.
The title of the project is "Higher Education System Development for Social Partnership Improvement and Humanity Sciences Competitiveness".
The coordinator of the project is the Head of the Foreign Affairs and Intercultural Relations Department, Prof. Indira Dzagania. EU partners are represented by Latvia (the major coordinator), Portugal and Italy; the EE partner countries are represented by Armenian, Ukrainian and Moldavian universities. Project duration is 3 years.
